San Dimas stage race

Just finished up the three day San Dimas cycling Classic.  First day was a mountain TT, second stage was a rather gnarly road stage and the last stage was a 90 minute crit.  I ended up running 3rd on GC.

Tour of California Stage 7

A wrap up….  The Amgen Tour of California concluded Sunday circumnavigating the famous Rose Bowl in Pasadena.  Only a few more than 70 riders from the initial 132 riders finished the event as a plague like flu virus obliterated the field and left many riders quivering under their blankets.  Toyota-United rode into Pasadena with just three of their riders remaining and once again, Dominique Rollin, our in form sprinter/all round strong guy was to the fore in the bunch sprint...

Tour of California - Stage 5

Apparently it’s Friday already. That leaves two days to go. Really, this week has felt like a blur. But amongst that, we have had some long, long stages. The weather conditions have slowed things down and the the course profiles this year have definitely made this tour a whole lot harder than the previous two years. This may not be the best thing for the race. The allure for the Euro teams is solid racing in good weather and this tour has been quite a bit more than solid and definitely not sunny.
